A Pound of Flesh: Two Truths and a Lie

Babushka finishes repairing Murderbot after his mod overload. Murderbot learns that he has a panic button which is now controlled by Carnoc. The rest of the crew get mods installed mostly uneventfully, except that Ink grows some new vents. We learn how some of the crew relaxed over the last month via sex, exercise, painting, and talking. The crew return to The Company ship, coming up with a cover story for Yandy's plan. Murderbot hides out in the ship to avoid having their black box read. The Smoking Man reviews the data stick and keeps the crew in holding while waiting for the CEO to arrive. Ink hides the case, which the crew believes is a nuclear weapon, behind a toilet on the company ship. Murderbot spies on a Repurposing Department crew removing the crew's items from their ship. The Company CEO asks about Sycorax production and offers another mission to obtain some Solarian Fruit for analysis. Ink starts blabbing the truth, and Smoking Man reveals the drugs did their job.

Imogene tells the crew everything she knows about Sycorax distribution. Ukko-Ukka of the Solarian Church makes the drug, and DopTown is somehow involved in the process. Yandy, leader of Golyanovo Il Bratva, is in charge of the whole operation. Imogene cuts off her own finger as proof that we found her. The crew is "escorted" by armed guards to see Yandy and Ingus. Yandy offers us a job to attract and destroy some The Company higher-ups. The crew considers how to spend Yandy's 100K advance on slickware and cyberware. Murderbot goes into surgery first but starts having a reaction. The Babushka diagnoses Murderbot and finds that he already had mods secretly installed by The Company.

A Pound of Flesh: Fatal Processing Error

The crew explore Prospero's Dream during some much needed R&R. Ink and Murderbot accept a mission to find Imogene Kane in DOPTown. Zeke promises to save the people in DOPTown, who are barely surviving on minimal O2. They take us directly to Imogene, who gives us directions to the air processing plant. On their way, the crew is ambushed by a group of spearmen, another group of children, and a mysterious creature. Zeke and Murderbot repair the air processing plant, earning Imogene's trust.

A Pound of Flesh: Prospero's Nightmare?

The crew wakes up from cryo sleep and are verified as cured from the Carc infection by Dr. Edem. The Company runs Zeke through cognitive defragmentation and he wakes up from his coma. A smoking man from The Company briefs the crew on a new undercover mission to take out the leaders of a group distributing Sycorax. The Company surprisingly offers 10K of equipment to each member of the crew. Phoenix, a captured inside man, briefs the crew and takes them to Prospero's Dream.

Another Bug Hunt: A Tangled Web He Weaves

All of the survivors try to escape by traveling through the sphincter. Ink finds and uses a peculiar but effective alien weapon. Hinton attempts to use the Carcs for galactic domination. Zeke fights an uphill battle of intelligence and will against Hinton and ends up in a coma. Murderbot, Carnoc, and Novikov defeat Hinton and escape with his head, at the cost of Murderbot's life. Everyone is infected by the Carcs, including Moss remotely, but Dr. Edem is eventually able to cure them all. The crew receive their payment and wonder whether it's worth the price they paid.

Another Bug Hunt: Between a Carc and a Soft Place

The crew review the Org Chart and recall how many were killed by the Carcs. They attempt to repair the reactor and rescue marines inside, but are interrupted by a Carc. Zeke, Carnoc, and Dex escort Dr. Edem to the lab to recover their research. Dr. Edem describes their research on the Carcs. Carnoc and Valdez have a heated argument over how to evacuate. Ink and Murderbot investigate a horrifying organic tunnel, finding some acidic gas and the body of another marine.

Another Bug Hunt: Fire in the Hole

The crew deal with a horrifying creature which erupted from a strangely behaving host body. They find a number of bodies which look starved and scarred with papercuts. Can they survive and figure out what's causing this infection?
